I saw this on a Tyra Banks show. She had on a famous gynecologist from the LA area and she said wearing a bra to sleep prevents sagging. So I assume it is perfectly fine to wear a bra to bed!

Look.. its not a firm yes or no, but some believe that for women with larger breasts its more comfortable to wear a bra to sleep...

the obvious point would be to be comfortable and not wear a restricting bra.

The Fiji breast study
The connection between bras and the development of breast cancer was reinforced in a study conducted on the Fiji Islands. In 1997, medical anthropologist Sidney Singer compared the incidence of breast cancer in two groups of women in Fiji. Half of the women wore bras and the other half went without. The diet, environment and lifestyle of both groups were the same. Singer discovered that those who wore bras had the same rate of breast cancer as American women. Those who went bra-less experienced practically no breast cancer whatsoever.

I found that a sports support top was more comfortable than a bra, especially around the time of my period when my breasts were a little more sensitive, would definately stay away from underwires or anything too lacy unless its for dressing up purposes rather than sleeping!

I am large busted, and when I was pregnant with my son the doctor recommended that I sleep with a bra on for support. I am now 50 and still do. And believe me it has really helped reduce drooping, if you know what I mean.

I don't use the one I wear all day, but a comfortable cotton one.

If you are small busted, I don't know if it matters.

I have always worn a bra to bed, since I was in school and although I've heard vague ideas about it being bad for you I've never heard anything substantial enough to stop me doing it. I dont think its anything to worry about; I'll let you know if my boobs drop off though ;-)
