depends on what your talking about? is it something you buy? is it a relationship?
in more cases new is better than old..if you can afford it..same goes with relationships.
someone once told me who hurts you once will hurt you again..

i have got to say BOTH!
Old is something you can cherish and keep for rememberance!
New is something that gives you an exciting feeling when you buy it for the first time or something whcih you receive...they are both good!
