Nope, there is no planet between us and venus. A very long time ago the astronomy community decided what size an astronomical body had to be before it could be classed as a planet, and what properties it would need to have (like orbiting a star for example). There is loads of space junk out there, bits of old asteroids and comets, but none of them are big enough to be classed officially as planets. This definition is one of the reasons Pluto is under such great debate since it ought not to have been classed as a planet in the first place.

Anyhoo, the planets in our solar system and their names can be remembered like this:

= Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune Pluto

If you mean is there a planet whose orbit around the sun lies between the orbits of venus and earth, then the answer is no.

However, if you mean is there a planet whose position in space lies on an imaginary line drawn between earth and venus, then the answer is... one can come close to that at very rare times. And that would be the planet Mercury.

When Earth and Venus are nearly close to being at opposite sides of the sun, such a line would come close to crossing Mercury's orbit. And at rare times, Mercury might be occupying that place. Of course it would be a few degrees off, and we also wouldn't be able to see it with the naked eye at the time due to the glare of the sun.

No.

However "they" do believe that a planet used to be between the Earth and Mars, but it smacked into the Earth a few billion years ago and made our moon.
FYI the planet order is Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Neptune.

Pluto is not a planet.

There is no planet between us. Pluto was reclassified as a "Dwarf Planet" a few years ago. 2 other masses in our solar system fell in to this category and there are others that could be possible Dwarf Planets. However, all of these Dwarf Planets lie much further away from the sun with orbits resembling Pluto's.

There is no planet between venus and earth ?? How could it be hidden? There are just too many people with eyes and telescopes. The Chinese would have seen it thousands of years ago as would have all civilizations..

You would be able to see it. You can see venus, mars and jupiter with the naked eye. If there was a planet there then they would have discovered it 5000 years ago, named it and made legends about it like they did with allthe other near by planets.

There might be something between us and Venus but it is not a planet! It could be large meterors in bewteen us and Venus? but I can not think of any reason why they would not tell us, unless it is a secret alien base covered up by America and NASA.

Wow... what conspiracy magazine do YOU subscribe to?

I dont know who they are but I admit they'd have to be powerful indeed to kidnap and kill all the amateur astronomers who would easily be able to detect such a planet with a small cheap telescope if not the human eye.

Basic answer then is no, no there isnt. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars etc.
