where was that london missing boy for 4 days?

he is 13, knew which bus to take him home, how come he didnt talk to a policeman or anyone to say he was lost? 4 days in the street trying to find his way home seems a bit strange to me.

he maybe had his reasons maybe his parents beat him and he is too scared to say anything and he just wanted to get away
