Year one:

Celtic 12th
Rangers 16th

Year two:

Celtic in a Uefa Stop
Rangers 10th

Year Three:

Celtic pushing for CL spot
Rangers Uefa cup

What English Premier League fans arrogantly forget is that although our league is poor, we are both MASSIVE clubs. I think it's rich that people assume that we're tiny clubs when our 50k plus grounds are full week in week out whilst the likes of Boro and Charlton struggle to get 30k through their doors. Once we established ourselves and have the ability to get higher quality players, we'd soon fighting it out amongst the big boys.

Remember that both this year and last, Scotland has/will be represented in the last 16 of the Champions League, I couldn't see the likes of Fulham or Man City doing that, even with their amazing superior "best in the world" league.

Mid table for Celtic. A couple of places lower for Rangers. Both teams problem is that they do not have enough depth in there squads to be challenging for honours in the EPL at the moment. They would also find that the opposition would be tougher than in Scotland on a weekly basis. Teams also would be well wound up because of the fact that Celtic and Rangers had been allowed into the EPL in the first place so there would be no end of season feel to any games that either team played.

Celtic and Rangers don't have the squads to compete in the Premiership because they don't need to have the squads to compete in the Premiership.
If they had to play in it as of tomorrow, they would probably both get relegated - Celtic would maybe finish above Watford Charlton and Sheff United, but Rangers would finish bottom.
However, if both clubs hada year to prepare and grow their squads, that might be a different matter........

With the funding from Sky T.V. that tha EPL clubs recieve i would have to admit they would do quite well. After a settling in period where they would need to get used to the faster pace and the higher standard compared to the SPL ,also if they were to be admitted to the EPL they would be better equipped to attract top class international players who would choose either Celtic or Rangers above the likes of Fulham ,Charlton or Middlesborough etc.
I think maybe Champions League spot after a couple of seasons ,definetley UEFA Cup spot.
By the way i`m not Scottish .English Birmingham City supporter.

In their first few seasons, probably mid-table or lower. They might even struggle. There's nothing to stop them doing well in the Premiership but with the possible exception of Hearts, there's just not enough top-quality competition in the SPL. They would have steady themselves and improve over a few seasons to stand a chance of doing well.

Much like a Championship club entering the Premiership for the first time, I guess.

Probably have to agree with about mid table or so for Celtic for the 1st year because the transition at first may be difficult, Rangers a bit lower. After a while they may well hold their own pretty well, some clubs would find it difficult and daunting to go up there to play.

It would take them a few years of receiving the amount of TV money that the English clubs receive at the moment before any of the two could seriously think about competing for the title. To start with though they would certainly be capable of regularly competing for the two remaining Champions League places (if you take it that Man Utd and Chelsea are a certainty for the first two places), with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, etc.

I would say Celtic top 5 and Rangers would struggle to be top half of the table.

Very difficult to predict,i would compare Rangers to say Boro and Celtic to Newcastle,I cant predict where these would end up,but i think they would handle the EPL ok.And no team no matter how big would fancey going to Celtic and come away with 3 points.[im a Liverpool fan].
