Morocco, their crappy stuff is what most people in Western Europe mistake for real pot and hasch...
And I don't believe the UK has much of a home production, the peelers do tend to clamp down on that rather efficiently... abnormally high power consumption in a private person is often a dead ringer.

Most of the skunk in this country is homegrown or from Amsterdam and the hash is mainly from Afghanistan or Morocco

No idea. But here in Germany it comes from right across the boarder, from good old Holland. Who ever said it is all that crappy Morroccan stuff is wrong.

My 'friend' says most of what he gets comes from Holland. However, some is home grown. I don't ask any further!

My back garden... I have a Hydroponic farm back there growing the biggest weed plants... My electricity bill is huge!
