Stockings should be worn all year round depending on the weather.

I wear stockings and a garter belt to work 12 months of the year. You don't wear $400.00 suits to work with bare legs and Payless shoes.
As far as after work I wear stockings all the time from October to May, even with casual clothes. It looks gauche to go out with bare legs if it's not 80 degrees out and the sun is shinning!

definitely. Except tights, it's the only way you can still wear a skirt in winter without getting cold. I love stockings!

I don't wear stockings here because it is very warm in Florida and with sandals and open toed shoes they just don't go.

I wear them year round. They have many different denieres of them and can keep youtr legs warm.
