so tried to restore back from there no joy. I have tried to restore my pc to eariler date still lost please help

if your ipod songs are on your harddrive, sign off, sign back on
go to recycle bin and see if they are there. if they are still showing
hit restore all.
if that doesnt help, hit my computer and hit explore and search everything on your c drive to see if they are showing.

It showed error because you had to drag the files out of the bin and upload them to your ipod manually. Restore only works when they are sent somewhere on your pc, not on a removable device.

Just click on your recycle bin then click on 'restore all items' they should reappear in their original place on your pc.
