I had recently took my baby for her routine exams and she is usually pretty good after she gets her shots, she doesnt usually get fussy during the next following days. But this time a few days after her shot she seems sick and in discomfort. I asked the nurse if the flu shot would give her side effects and she said no. I asked my Mom and she said she never accepted the flu shot for any of her kids and I shouldnt have done it. Im confused. My daughter does not seem happy at all and is not sleeping regularly either. I have given her some infant tylenol drops but they didnt seem to help much. Should I even go back again for the 2nd shot? Please help. 1st time Mother with deep conserns.

A flu shot is an injection with disabled bacteria, this shot is used to tell if your immunity system is in tip-top shape. But it seems that your daughter's immunity system is too weak to combat those disabled bacteria. And nurses can make mistakes you know, but I suggest that you should,t give her that 2nd shot until she fewels better

Be careful, she may use her milk bottle to squirt you in the face when you're sleeping...just joking. Anyway, try to avoid japs if possible..she needs to fight the virus herself for immunity...
