There are so many good brands out there now, depending on what you want to pay. I usually buy whatever catches my eye, and which ever is affordable. Just check out the right colours for your completion. If you need expert advise, and can afford decent stuff, go to your local department store. They usually have beautician's there who will help you by giving you a "makeover", using their products. Clinique is very good, Max Factor isn't bad, Estee Lauder is fab (but expensive), Avon also has some nice stuff, is inexpensive, and they have lovely specials and Maybelline is reasonable and nice too. It is kinda like trial and error I'm afraid. I have a Hodge-podge of different makes, including junk I got at the flea market! Have fun, and test out the different products until you find something that you feel comfortable with. The only thing I am very strict about is my base. I have used ONLY Clinique Total Coverage as a base for years!

There are so many good brand out there. Don't just look for brand name, look for the one that you like and not allergic to and at the affordable price. It can take years before you find the one you like. The best way to do this is to look for a beauty consultant that will help you find the right make-up for you. (remember if you go to the department store the consultant will try to sell you the brand that they're represent). Also the beauty consultant will teach you how to apply make-up. I could never find everything that I like from one brand, so I uses different brand.
