I like making the middle name something that ties to a family member. For instance, my middle name is George, which was both of my grandfathers names. I always thought it was cool to have that tie to them. My first son's middle name is mine and my Dad's name. My second son's middle name is my father-in-law's name. My third son's middle name is Lincoln, because we ran out of grandfathers to name him after and Abraham Lincoln is one of my heroes. - - - Make it meaningful, not just something that sounds good.

Depends on the last name I think.

Trevor Dean (Merciful Soldier)

Aidan Pius (Devout - was a name used for many Popes :) LOL!

Preston Lee (Meadow and cautious person)

Sometimes it's nice to have the father's first name in the middle etc.

Wow.. just looking over everyone's answers and Lee, James and Dean are very popular :) Try "Pius"... I don't think there will be many :D.. maybe he will be more of a Saint ;) hehe..

whatever you do, PLEASE dont name your son aidan. My baby is 5 months old, named Aiden, and there are SO many its not even funny. They sent us the wrong Aiden birth certificate.
On a lighter note, I like names whose middle name rings with the first. For example, my sons name is Aiden Dean. Dean for his father. But when you say it aloud, it kind of sings. Thats why I liked it. Remember the sylablle rule- 2 sylablles in the first, one in the second, and vice versa. 3 for 1 and so on. dont give trevor (or preston) the same sound in his middle name as he has in his first- (i.e. Preston jackson) the "on" sound is too much. Hope this helps :) I suggest naming him after his daddy, or give him the middle name of your grandfather, honor someone in your family.
