the Psp is a very good hand held system
good points-
*The lcd screen gives u Dvd quality
*There are various titles and movies available fot the psp.
*Very easy to store music and pictures from Pc to PSP via USB
* eay to connect to Internet via WiFi
* Easy gaming controls
* good battery lifecomes upto 8 hours
BAd points-
* bad sound when played in open enviroment through speakers good through ear phones
* only UMD disks work on Psp
* UMD games and movies costs 40 - 70 US dollars
* UMD can not be duplicated or copied
* Psp has no internal memory drive A memory card specially for PSP or compatible SD card (mini) must be bought in oprder to save games or save music
* Psp can carry videos but you will have to install or download a PSP Media Manager (sold seperateley) in order to save vidoes in PSP
* PSp only reads MPEG-4 or Mp4 videos
* PSP does not support WMA music or videos
* PSP does not support RAM music
* the Lcd screen tends to become dusty or dirty and scrached very fast if a protective cover is not used.
* Games can be downloaded for PSP through the net but you will need another special software to transfer it
* The PSP system keeps getting updated when i bought it the software was 2.45 now it is 3.04.
Overall the PSP is excellent for playing games and listening to music and is easy to use. 9.0 rating as per ign and T3

I have had 2 PSP's and sold both on. I am not biased as I own a DS, 360, Wii and my americam PS3 is coming soon so Im not one of the immature "One is better than the other" idiots when they just use their preference to decide.
At the end of the day - no, the speakers arnt great, yes the screen does scratch if you dont trat it with kid gloves - but at the end of the day - The DS which I currently own does not have good speakers, and again the screen scratches.
You should make your decision on the games you want to play.
There are some excellent games on PSP hence why I have had a couple, however the vast majority just feel like PS2 ports in which case, whats the point cos we've all played though the PS2 games. However if you love PS2 games then this is the machine for you.
If like me, you get bored of the same old thing and want to try somehting different, there are other machines to go for. The DS has some amazing innovitive games which utilise the touch screen to a great extent - so isnt just a gimmick.
Conclusion - Sure some machines are techically better than others, but that doesnt mean they are better. The 360 is a superior machine to Wii, but do I think its better? No. They just play different games so my advice is - make your choice of machine on the games you want to play on it, not on what you think it techically better or because someone says "psp is brill and DS are naff" etc. Hope this helps.

internet
great games
wacth mp4 videos
great quilty on gaming and movies
and the games dont cost more then 50 and thats for like grand theft auto
ps1 games are playable now
bad:
umds (worhthless)
speakers arent loud enough
the screen get dust but can buy a screen protector for 5 dollars

thats not true if u have a earlier version and if u buy a new one i doubt it have version 2.71 u can get games for free

again not true you can go to this site guba .com and they give like anime and funny clips for free that works for the psp just have to download it on the computer or the psp internet u dont need software

its free of charge and it make the psp better with the later version i got internet,videoes,and secruity it good trust me
side note u can get movies that are mp4 at like lime wire or bit torrent does are programs that let u download music ,and movies on the computer right know i just finished wacthing nacho libre that was mp4 format and needed no programs on my psp
