Would they eat boiled mussel or frozen mussels?

Fish do not feel hot and cold in their mouths as we understand it.
They react to both but it is not to do with their mouth but more the whole body because they are cold blooded creatures. If the water becomes too cold they will become torpid and eventually die. If their water is too warm they will develop disease, have trouble extracting oxygen from the water and eventually die.
Using carp as an example, they will eat frozen food as fisherman have fed this before. As the food defrosts in the water it releases scents that attract fish. Some of the frozen bait does get eaten.
If you put boiling hot food in water it will cool very quickly so boiling hot is not an issue. If you were to put boiling hot food directly into the mouth of a fish, it would burn it just the same as you or I.

No, they are just wondering why their mouth remains open and have to take in poops from another fish infront of them...
