i like this guy and we dont really know each other...
we are not even considered friends!
i was just wondering since the holiday seasons are here and tomorro is the last day before break...
is it weird to get him a gift?

If you are, make sure it is something little (and not personal) eg: a chocolate, or a flower, or something that won't look creepy or stalkerish. (lol not sure if that is a word?)
Just keep it light and friendly, so that if he is interested, he will then know you are.

Be sure it is not big or expensive, or he may be embarrassed that he has nothing to give you in return. If you see he is uncomfortable, make the conversation light...eg: I give this to all of my friends, and I was just wanting you to be one of them.

Giving him a gift is a great way to get his attention and eventually win his heart but you have to make it seem casual so give a few of your friends the same gift you give him and don't make the gift personalised; try a small box of chocolates or something similar so he doesn't think you singled him out to give a gift too...
