i had my membranes stripped yesterday morning and now i am having a pink discharge, and severe lower back ache that moves to the front of my stomach could i already be in labor after only 19 or so hours of having this done?

Possibly. You want contractions ever 3-5 minutes that are painful for 1-2 hours. Stripping the membranes irritated things and is causing you to contract and have that pink discharge. Call your doctor if you are worried though.

Yes, you could be. My sister had her membranes stripped and went into labor the next morning. It does work that fast! Good luck

when I had my membranes stripped last time around..I went into labor within 24 hours as well! If you are really that uncomfortable I would call your doc..because labor pains are different for everyone! GOOD LUCK & HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and baby!!

it definately sounds like. i went into labour just 6 hours after having my membranes sweept. have a relaxing bath and eat a good meal as you may need the energy later.

yes, you could be going into labor....the plug is there to keep the cervix closed during your pregnancy....once that plug is gone your cervix can start to dilate at anytime.....
looks like your baby is on its way....congrats!
