I meant to say this long time ago but had no opportunity. He
is a coward. By his own preaching of UN Reforms, he should
have resigned when he failed to stop the Ruwanda Genocide.
10 years aftert he only issued a statment of regret - he was not
able to move the connected States to do anything about it.
He had no initaitive on such grave matters. He marked time
for 10 yrs - a time by which any politician would have had an
answer to your question - Visionary or fool !!

Kofi Annan was just a token puppet. His intentions were good, but he is really oblivious to the threat of radical Islam. It has been clear from the beginning that his anti-american sentiments impeded his ability to diagnose the real problems of the "global community."

I believe that the man was always just "a figure head"
No vision shown what's so ever, Foolish, because he has nor had any guts to stand up for what is right.
He should have retired the moment he realized that he was totally ineffective.
When was that?
The very moment he felt "tossed and thrown", between the windstorms of them whom really make decisions in the UN.
Why he stayed? it sure beats me ;
Hope it wasn't just for the paycheck, or the false prestige of getting nothing done.

Annan is an anti American very angry because our invasion of Iraq cut off the money from oil for food for his son and himself. He has been a disaster as secretary general refusing to eliminate corruption and not sending help to stop genocide. He is a black idiot.

i don't know but whatever he is is of no importance just like his position. He has no power and can't decide for absolutely anything. He is a marionette and even he might not be a fool he has chosen not to be useful. At least i hope he feels some guilts about his actions

I say it became a competent shot, The UN lined up the homicide of three Israeli squaddies and had it on tape. Israel found out bearing directly to the tape and demanded the info which became edited beforehand of restoration of the tape. The UN allowed Hezbolla get admission to to the section surrounding the outpost in question so the duty lies with the UN.

Legacy? A man called Moon...the religious right/neocons haven't just taken over America, they've taken over the world...Why should we all have to pay the consequences of such un-UN activities?
