Killswitch Engage. Saw them a club called Emo's, in Austin. The first song started and the lead singer was like "WTF?" the crowd was singing really ******* loud and he smiled at the drummer. I crowd surfed to the stage and jumped up on stage with the guitarist and stood next to him and played air guitar and he thought that was hilarious. Oh and I got to jump on the lead singers back. He just laughed and judo flipped me into the crowd... I got somewhat drunk and joined in a hardcore dance pit. The last song the lead singer stopped singing half way through and just jumped into the pit and crowd surfed... it was ok that he stopped singing, cause the crowd was so loud he didn't have to. There were people hanging of the rafters of the ceiling like tarzan. It was the best show I've ever been to.

IT sounds like we have very different tastes in music, but I went to a July 4th gig in (I think) 1985 with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, followed by Bob Dylan, followed by the Grateful Dead, then Dylan & the Dead did a joint set.. Now that's a line up.

Mind you, Phish were amazing live also. Seeing them in Amsterdam was intense.

Best I've seen rescently was Flaming Lips - I wasn't a fan until the gig. If you ever get a chance to see them, go for it. An astonishing experience!

Best concert was KRS-ONE at Harry O's in Park City, Utah. It was best because the room wasn't so large, we could go right up to the stage and he brings his all to his performances.

I saw Aerosmith in a huge stadium years ago, but it was so impersonal compared to Park City. Kris threw out cd's and I held mine up to him so he could sign it, we were that accessible. It was worth the drive & I'll see him again when he returns.
