Do you have screens on your doors and windows?

We live in Florida, in the U.S. and only get 1 or 2 flies a year. But family in Iowa (hog country)get a ghastly amount of flies. Love the area couldn't live with the flies.

I would say If you don't have screens, get them or make them from Velcro and screening. Plus put up a screen door. Or keep everything closed up .

Use a good screen on your doors and windows.

And yes, mint is good too: I grew some this year, and saw very few flies.
