Sharing "Christmas" with other people is the best way for me to enjoy the holiday spirit. I live in foreign country where most people don't understand the kinds of holiday traditions that I grew up with. So I've found that when I concentrate on giving "Christmas" instead of getting "Christmas" I feel better.

i am not much of a christmas fan...my dad left around christmas time right after i graduated hs so its just never been my favorite holiday..but halloween that is my favorite holiday and when my brothers and i were in high school my mom and dad would let us do a haunted house every year ...so in december we would make christmas lists for things we would want for the haunted house...as well as sit together as a family and discuss our plans on making the haunted house...strange way to get the fam together but hey it was definately a memory that puts me in the spirit...literally i guess
