Check any dark, warm, tight place.
Also, try setting up a heat lamp so that it makes a warm spot on the floor somewhere (just be careful not to start any fires!) or lay down a human heat pad cover with a towel, something to attract him to the heat. Also, try buying some live mice and putting them in a small container with lots of ventilation, place this somewhere near the heat source, and place both fairly close to the cage he escaped from - most snakes don't wander far when they get out, and the heat and smell of food should tempt him out where you can see him.
When you do find him, make sure you buy a tank with a screen lid that slides back and latches, I have one for my boa and I'm sure I'd be hunting for her all the time if I didn't!
One other idea, running the vaccuum cleaner freaks out my reps and makes them start moving around their cages a lot, if you start vaccuuming or making other strong vibrations in the area he escaped in, he may come squirming out to run from it.
Good luck!

Honestly, it really depends on the snake. Generally, snakes are curious and won't rush for the door. The moment you realise that your snake is gone, block underneath all the doors in your house. If you have a corn snake, check in high places. They tend to travel upwards rather than along things. They would be attracted to heat and small spaces. Remember, don't rule any spot out! Potted plants are a common hiding spot as well as radiators. Some people don't find their snakes for weeks. Luckily, snakes can survive a long time without food.

They are attracted to heat. If you have central heating then turn it off and place a few hotwater bottles around the house and check them regularly, you might find him trying to wrap around them if he is cold.
My brother had a snake that got out of its tank too. It returned to its tank 4 months after disappearing, we think that it ate all the bugs and spiders in the house and when it ate them all it returned to its tank when it was hungry.
Hope this helps

Check around any warm water pipes or snuggled up anywhere near a radiator. Maybe in your basement if you have one. The weather is too cold just now for your snake to be anywhere else.

look everywhere especially warm places because snakes like the warmth but also look in dark places because they like the dark as well. if you can't find him, try to lure him out with some mice or whatever food he likes and put in a box or a container and he should come eventually because everyone or thing gets hungry after a while so you should have him back by morning.

well, i think your best bet is to start looking under things, and inside things. he is probably going to go somewhere you would not think to look. my friend's snake got out, and was under the couch the entirre time i was over while we were watching a ,movie, and we didn't even know it until we checked his cage for him later. he usually hides in the substrate in the tank, so it wasn't uncommon to not see him out in his cage.
well, as you know they are cold-blooded, and will be sttracted to heat to get warm, so if there is a safe way that you can make a heated area, he may come out on his own when slithering around looking for food, and stop there to bask. hope you find him! good luck!!

When I lost my pet snake the first time, he went under the carpeting, the 2nd time, he found an old bookbag under my bed and stayed there for a long time, too long infact, he died, the smell is horrible, its like someone's b.o x20.
So if you start smelling that, well then im sorry and good luck.

turn the heat off so the house will cool down. plug in a heating pad and put it in the middle of the floor. sometime soon the snake will seek out the heat. it may help if you put a mouse in a box on the pad as well... good luck!!
