Anyone that watches that show and is familiar with addictive/compulsive behavior-well would you rather have an addict that is a a genius treating you--or just they guy they get to replace him when they send him to prison. Should he go to jail?

I would love to have him as my doctor. He doesn't stop until he knows what is wrong. That is encouraging. He aslo doesn't accept the simple answer, just because it's simple.

I do not think he should go to jail. He actually has pain, and while that does not mean that being an addict is good, it also doesn't mean that just because someone is treated poorly they should abuse their power to ruin people's lives. I hate that cop.

Too bad there aren't more "Houses" around in the medical field. He is brilliant and the best diagnostician in the profession. Going to jail is not an option. Too many people then would either have to suffer or die. This is the best medical show ever. I love Grey's Anatomy but that is more of a prime time soap opera. It reminds me of General Hospital.

Yes, I would want him to be my doctor. Better to have a docttor who is honest and blunt than someone who doesn't know how to 'break the news'. And no, I don't think he should go to jail. Yes, he is an addict but the drugs are not illegal. That cop is just trying to get him back for being an a55 to him

Most of the time he comes up with the cure and treatment in time. Knowing his success rate with his patients, I'd probably feel safe in his hands.

I don't think spending time in jail will help House's problems. It's obvious he needs help - but for the time being it doesn't look like he actually wants it.

If I were sick, I would definately want him to be my doctor. He may be an addict, but, as he said in the show, the pills allow him to function. Without them, House just isn't House!

He's crazy but the best doctor, regardless of whether he treats his patients with a good "bed-side manner." All patients want to get better. He does that.

No he should not go to prision.... My reasons range from the fact that he only injures himself... to.... My political views on limited government.

As far as being my doctor... He gives you a straight forward answer without the bulls**t. And tenacious enough to keep going until he gets it.
Of coarse I'd want him!

hes a good doctor.. but i dont know about him treating me with his inclination to always torture his patients physically and mentally.. but if i'm really dying and theres no other doctor that can cure me.. i guess i'll pick him. and if he can stop on the drugs that will be better!
