I don't know if i should charge you for this, but. The Houses of Parliament is a building built in a gothic style that allegedly has many corridors that link it to various parts of London. I'll say no more as i'll have to ask for a credit in the final version of your novel.
Good luck.

I've never heard of any vampire novels set in China, so might be an interesting take on the subject, a good challenge and it'll be easier to avoid cliche. Same goes for other unlikely locations, e.g. Africa (which always seems to deal more with voodoo and zombies as opposed to 'classic' literary vampire portrayals).

Yale University. It's old and gothic, the yard in the center of campus is actually a Revolutionary War era graveyard where the tombstones have been pulled up but the bones are still there, and there are student organizations that hold meetings in old tombs.

How about the moon, now it's been in the news that the US wants to build a paermanent space station there. Maybe something in the moondust turns people into vampires, or a vampire manages to sneak in as an astronaut...?

See, a lot of such stories have locations that have become quite cliche. Try someplace new and untouched. How about Simla or the Himalayas in India. Sound funny? Open your mind a bit and read up on these places before striking it off your list of possibilities.
GoodLuck!

Transylvania, of course. You could have a lovely holiday researching it; just fly to Bucharest and start from there. The scenery is savagely beautiful and the old towns and castles are truly Gothic still.
Go girl!

A cool wind whistles against a tall oak whose limbs stretch from one side to the other of the riverbank, in Tamir. Beneath her towering structure, a pair of lovers toss each other with smiles of affection in a thicket of low lying grasses under the gazing ray of heaven's eye peering through her jostling leaves.........
***could be anywhere.... Just open your mind and start their day...
If you want gloom and doom from the get-go, then start the night in a demur fashion.... if not, then gradually increase the pressure of the day into night.....
But.... If I were you... I'd invent that place!!!!!.... Let the mind wonder!!!!...... Just don't do what every one expects for something like this.... Do something completely unexpected!!!!!!......... Invent it!!!!!
I hope you much success!!!!

i could not inform you a thanks to bypass about with publishing and writing an excellent plot yet what i visit do is inform you this manner of books I somewhat have continually loved studying. at the same time as i replaced right into a lot youthful i continually loved the classic goosebumps sequence till i have been given into the better studying stages. one element i love about books is how the author can relate them to reality, actual international information. That for sure would continually require a great deal of analyze. Like a pair of my admired authors are Steven King and Michael Critin. lengthy novels are for sure large in case you want to take in time yet even some short thoughts can somewhat have awesome ability, to illustrate the hot action picture 1408 replaced into only a short tale by Steven King even with the undeniable fact that the action picture replaced into outstanding. i do not concepts studying the fantasy type books once in a lengthy time period both, like my admired e book sequence of all time may be the Harry Potter books. another element that i imagine many human beings would disagree with me on is giving some distance too a lot component, like i ought to in no way study the Lord of the earrings books they were purely to boring to ever get by to the best factors, that's ironic because i loved the films. Having comedy is evidently a good element to have, even if the e book is totally not meant to be a comedy its continually effective to have relaxing once in awhile. the biggest element in my concepts after wondering about it may be the muse to jot down a good novel. with out that till your some type of prodigy it will be complicated to jot down a good e book. demanding existence journey and expertise are key aspects to with the flexibility to jot down those type of reports and suck the reader into the e book for hours. If its achieved good the reader must have a movie of the tale contained in the e book playing of their concepts the entire time, so each and each and every reader ought to have a unique journey with your tale. also do not be discouraged if the media doesn't assist you or you'll in no way make it good luck!

In a deep, dark, gloomy land not on earth. Well it's a lot like earth but it has different names. The sky is always gray and sad, the trees and everything else looks dead, and when the night comes, the moon is blood red.
