Is there a scientific name for those ridged plastic images that move or change depending on the angle?

This thing is essentially a series of images sliced into thin strips, then covered in a clear sawtooth-pattern plastic lens. When you rotate it, the picture either changes or animates. Small rectangular ones used to come in Cracker Jack boxes, and they're still used occasionally on product packaging.

They are known as "lenticular" images.

Lenticular prints are created using convex lenses and the interlaced images morph or animate depending on the viewing angle because the offset ridges act as prisms which refract only specific sections of the interlaced image.
