Unfortunately the reversal of sterilization is a much more complicated procedure than the actual tubal ligation. It involves a bigger bikini incision. they just keep you in hospital overnight and make sure you have enough pain medication for the next couple of days until the pain improves. The usual time off work is 6 weeks.
The success rate depends a lot on the original type of tubal ligation done and the skill of the operator.

Your partner has to have a positive sperm count and come back positive before they proceed. You must see a doctor which will organize an appointment for this to happen. If your partner comes back possitive your doctor then can make an appointment to get your tubes reversed. Then you go in a get a die put through you and they see if your tubes are in working order and everything is good then you go in to the operating theatre and it can take up to six months to fall pregnant

The very best doctor to untie your tubes would be Dr. Richard Levin and his website is at http://www.babies-by-levin.com

He is the best and he does offer a payment plan so check out his website for all the info on this and good luck to you.

You will need to have an operation again, but it doesnt have a 100% sucess rate. You better consult that doctor that operated on you, so he will know exactly what procedures were used to tie you tibes (there are few types of them) and what is sucess rate.
