YES, they can!
Water-soluble are the SAFE vitamins, that if we have to much we excrete them through our urine, so generally don't have BAD side effects... and if we do, it's because of EXCESSIVE doses.... like 5grams at once... (but it wouldn't be a BAD reaction... just like diareha).
Fat-soluble vitamins are stored by the body... so too much can be dangerous.
Minerals have a strong chance of interfering with other medications... (so can some vitamins, but mostly minerals)

Most packages tell you the 'potential' side effects and 'drug interactions' - so be guided by this.

It probably isn't anything to worry about. Since you can't see a doctor, did you obtain your pills from a clinic? It's possible the dosage is either too high or too low for your body, causing the spotting. The vitamins should not be messing with your hormones. Have you been doing more or less physical activity/exercising than normal? That may also be causing it. I would give it one more cycle and then see, and go to a free clinic if things don't get better.

All vitamins effect the body. Vitamins are usually processed in the liver and then excreted by the kidneys. So yes, they do effect organs. Be careful if you have decreased or failing liver or kidneys; you could "overdose" on the vitamins.

Not if they have food sources for the ingredients. Synthetic vitamins never agree with us. Find products that use food sources for their vitamins. Juice plus is the leader in unrefined products.

Yes. You should talk with your doctor when starting new vitamins, they can interfere with other medication.
