Bromide:
when u heat the salt with sulphuric acid and MnO2, u get Br2 vapours. hold a filter paper moistened with starch solution.
If it turns yellow (the moist side), Bromide is confirmed.

Chloride:
Upon heating the salt with MnO2 and H2SO4, chlorine gas is liberated. u can recognise it by its odour( dont inhale too much!)
u can introduce a atarch potasium- iodide paper which turns blue.
thus chloride can be confirmed.

Iodide:
Aq. solution of salt when acidified with H2SO4 and treated with potassium dichromate and chloroform is added, the organic layer turns violet or red-violet. if so then iodide confirmed.

chlorine can be determine by titrating ur compound solution with standard solution of AgNO3
