When our son goes to toilet he flushes the toilet but his number twos remain there for a while. Takes several flushes to go away, Its not the size. My husband says better take him to the doctor as its not right. I cant go asking this question but I am slightly concerned. He Is 6 and has had problems with urine reflux leading to one kidney very small since birth.

Yeah, definately take him to the doctor and get a blood test done, it may be very heavy because he isn't digesting correctly...

Always take him to the doctor if you're suspicious of anything health-related, much better sooner than later, my baby cousin's had many problems because her mum is too lazy to take her daughter straight away and the symptoms get worse...

I was always under the impression that the onese that're hard to flush away are due to too much fat in my diet.

Get to the doctor's. It's your kid's health, it's your responsibility to find out and alert the doctor to any problem as early as possible.

Too much fat in the poo can cause floaters. It would be best to talk to the doctor, in case your son is having problems digesting fats. Don't be embarrassed. Your doctor will have heard much, much weirder questions.

There are a number of reasons why this happens but please don't worry.
it can be as simple as the food he eats and his digestive rate.
try changing his diet then if that does not help after a couple of days contact your Docs to put your mind at ease
Good Luck

Don't be afraid to ask your pediatrician questions! Chances are they have been asked the same question a thousand times before.
