the chorus has this line......(sounds like) sunshine, comes from your eyes..... (its an acoustic version of the song im having a complete blank been trying for 4 days now.... please help)

I confirmed the lyrics, and that's Paul Mac's "Sunshine Eyes". There's a very popular remix of the song out there right now that was done by Paul Mac and Nick Littlemore. Check out the link below for more info.
(Ian Hunter and even The Partridge Family had songs called "Sunshine Eyes", but the phrase you mentioned is definitely from Paul Mac.)
