1840 - 1910. I think that would have been a cool time to live. Medicine was improving and England was a fairly safe place to live and people were learning to have fun and enjoy themselves. But if I lived then I'd want to have some money, being poor in any age of history sucks!!

1937 - onwards. With my knowledge of WWII I'll be one step of Adolph and know his every next move. Displaying this prowess of an almost gifted military leader I will be granted a position of extreme power in the British Empire and surely go on to rule the world and invent a ray-gun with which I could destroy whole countrys that didn't meet my demands. I shall become the most powerful leader in history and will eventually rule the entire globe.
Mwahaha, mwahaha.......

I would like to have been born in 1840 and died in 1910 because of the wonderful things that were going on during that period; think of the composers: Holst, Elgar, Delius, Mahler, Prokofiev and all the others Puccini for example. Think of the musicians: Krysler, Menuhin, Rubinstein, Paganini... Think of the Artists: All the Impressionists, never mind the pre-Raphaelites. Think of the inventions: Steamships, the Automobile, Powered Flight etc.etc. Think of the security of being British. Think of the elegance, the wonderful Social scene (the Belle Epoque) with its fantastic food and wines and parties so glittering that you wouldn't believe them...BUT, only if I had been born RICH; otherwise forget it!

G'day Princess,
Thank you for your question.
I would live now. We live longer and better than any generation in history. As well, due to global warming we can go to the beach more often. What's not to like? :>)
Of course, if I could go back in time and observe different cultures over time, it would be very interesting but I'd like to come home to the 21st century.
Seasons greetings

1890 - 1975. Before all the real, bad bullhsit began and during a time that enough conveniences existed to enjoy oneself. I would have been an officer in WWI and by world war two I'd be sitting at home with the pretty wife. And bad bullhsit I mean.....well, if you don't know what I mean then it's moot because it's just too much to explain. Be well, Jack

1760-1850, I want to watch the growth and collapse of the empire of France, I want to see the tactics that Napoleon use to defeat his mighty enemies, and I want to join Napoleon's army to feel how the life it's as a soldier in that time.
