To inspire:

Fantastical Romance - Rachmaninov's "Piano Concerto #2" (Paganini) - was used in the movie, "Somewhere In Time" (probably the most romantic movie ever made)

Mystery - Karl Jenkin's "Adiemus"

Humor & Laughs - Buster Poindexter (Album of same name)

Smouldering Passion - k.d. lang ("Ingenue" album)

Country Flirtatiousness - Tanya Tucker (any album will do)

Straight, Honest Romance - "Piano By Candlelight" (an album with famous love songs all performed by only a piano.)

Classical music, or smooth, calm songs. Maybe light jazz.

Try Andrea Brocelli, his songs are perfect.

No rap, pop, or rock, because they aren't very romantic at all.

Most songs with lyrics in it aren't romantic, in my opinion.

Whatever get you in the mood - mostly songs that are quiet and soft in the texture with as few words as possible.
