Obviously, the best person to ask here is a doctor. It can take an average of 6 -12 mths to concieve once contraception is stopped, however it can take longer, and normally does.
Keep trying, but in the meantime if you are that concerned, go to your doctor so they can run some tests.
Good Luck!

No it just means you have been lucky about not getting pregnant but it will soon catch up with you. That is what lots of people think when they never use anything a year or two passes and no pregnancy but they eventually get pregnant when they least expect it.
If you think you are infertile though see a doctor

only 80 percent of people who are trying to have a baby conceive in their first year, but 90% conceive by 18 months. Doctors always say to wait a year before coming in to check with them because after a year of trying you are concidered infertile, but you can still have kids. infertile doesn't mean that you can't, it just means it takes you longer. talk to the doctor, but i wouldn't try any medication or anything until atleast after 18 months of trying.

For the average couple it takes a year and a half to get pregnant! Also there are approximately only 2 days each month that you can get pregnant!!
Are you trying to get pregnant or just practicing unsafe sex?!
It could be your boyfriend who has a problem as well! Are you sure he is ejaculating as he should! Maybe he does not have "working" sperm

no not at all. i have heard of cases longer, and then people conceive. if you've been wanting to get pregnant, then they say it could be 'trying too hard' that prevents it. my advice would be to get a 'test kit' which predicts when your most fertile and then try then. eg ovulation kit, bought at boots etc.
i would try that for a time, then if no joy, go and have a chat with your doctor and he will talk the possibilites over with you. good luck!

maybe your just really lucky or unlucky if your trying. Go see a doctor, it doesn't take them long for them to find out. Also, it might be him.... somethings to think about.

Have him get a sperm count done. Nine times out of ten that's the problem.
