Tell your story in a way where you cause others to cry and have a huge amount of pity for you. This way other people will feel guilt. The guilt will motivate them to feel like a hero towards your cause or situations.
Also, think in terms of how your situation can be used into a sound bite for the show so they can do promotional advertising about how Oprah changed your life.
Be victim and hope that Oprah's producers and see the light of making Oprah and the show look good.
