What is Charter-change? How did it came?

Charter Change or Cha-Cha is the change of the constitution through a revolution, people's initiative, Constitutional Assembly or Constitutional Convention. There are many Filipinos who wanted to change the constitution because the present constitution is perceived to be not good for the Philippines allowing political bickerings and many expenses that had brought down the economy.

I believe that the best time to amend our constitution will be in 2010 after the election where in the malevolent politicians will somehow be fade out and so that there will be no reason for President Arroyo to extend her term. I think this amendment will not succeed even after 2010 bec. people totally think that cha-cha will kill their right to vote for the next President. I strongly believe that amending the 1987 Constitution is necessary and the solution to level up the Philippines from other nation.
