As a woman, I don't think I would like it. Women are ruled by their hearts and emotions. Thus, when we get PMS, WATCH OUT!!! There would be a new war started every month if we ran things.
However, historically societies that were ruled by women have been more organized and the armies were stronger.

well, i can see two extremes to the possibilty... women can be very catty, and damn if anyone wants to get tossed into a world full of that kinda drama; on the other hand, women at their best are nurturing and optimists, and we may encounter utopia... but nah, it's seriously doubtful; besides, don't you realize how much power women have as it is, in a more subtle behind the scenes way? you men need what she's got; some are ruthless enough to weild that power to fulfill her every wish; the best women are naturally powerful cuz they are the mothers, loving wives and such that you turn to for comfort when you can't talk to your buddies about an issue; this woman is the foundation of every family, and the family relies on her to an extent that is often unrealized until she is no longer there...

I think it would be a nice change for everyone.
When women work together they can accomplish things a lot faster than men can.
I liked that you asked the question with women in the plural form, because...it tends to be mostly men in the positions of power, and women the minority.
If we reversed everything.... for every 100 women in power positions, we allowed one or two men to succeed....it'd be a different world that's for sure.

Most women (young women) that I know are total morons. They are too busy worrying about shopping and looking good to actually have an intelligent thought in their head. It's all drama, all the time.

I think there would be some advantages n disadvantages
advantages:
- cleaner
- safer
- lots of good school
disadvantages:
- woman have emotion (PMS)
- woman is sensitive
- woman always feel sorry for everything
