Age varies widely for different situations. I am 36 and living with my parents. But, I am visually impared and have had two kidney transplants. I am ill. They know it and care enough to allow me to stay here to reduce my living costs. I pay them "rent" by paying the utilities. It works for us.
But I would say 21 if not in college or until one graduates from college.25 unless they are studying to be a doctor or a lawyer.

I dont think it has to do with age. You should move out when you feel like you are depending too much on your parents, and want to feel like being an adult. But if you are mature for your age, and independent, then staying with your parents till you're in your 20's is no big deal.
Another fact: If you are in a bad relationship with your parent/s, then moving out will only worsen that relationship
Good Luck with whatever decision you make.

After 21 for guys, after 23 for girls.
If you are in college, it is a bit different until at least half-way through your degree (unless it's a 2 year, then you might as well stick it out at home and save up).
It also depends on if they have jobs or not. If they live at home but have 2-3 PT jobs, they're cool until 24 (because then they can just move out and buy their own house). If they aren't even working but are at their parents after HS, some thing's not adding up...
Being on your own give experience you can't get until you're gone. Family that loves you is priceless, but living your life means insuring you do something worthwhile with your life.

18 for girls and 21 for boys, don't you think 23 is a bit too old for someone to still stay with their parents? But before you go away from your parents you need to be independent first.

I think it depends on the family, the culture, and the culture of the family.
You can stay with your parents, but pay bills and show responsibility.
In many countries it is a matter of economics. You don't leave home until your are married because you can't afford to live on your own.

It is not a matter of age that determines whom one should be staying with. It is, however, a matter of anyone who is an adult over the age of 18 BEGINNING to take responsibility for his or her own behavior, decision making and finances. Any physically able and developmentally normal adult who is dependent on the parent's financial resources and direction who is of legal age - age 21, should be COMPLETELY financing his (or her) own lifestyle, making his own decisions and answering directly for his own behavior.

When I graduated from high school, I couldn't wait to move out. I got a full paid tuition scholarship to DeVry, but I didn't like DeVry. I ended up being a pizza man for a number of years before going into Quality Control at factories. If you want to make it in this world, get a degree. You will probably move out during this phase of your life, this will benefit you immensely .

Really depends on the situation. My hubby and I are both on fixed incomes. If our son didn't live with us and pay some of the bills we'd be almost destitute. He could move out. (As he has threatened to do at times when he and his father get into arguments) but then he could not afford to help us too.

My cousin lived with her parents until she was 30 then she got married and moved out. I think it depends on the person.

if u r a woman after marriage u can live with your husband and in any circumstances it is not wrong to live with your parents always. When they get old they will need the children"s protection so decide it ypurself. It depends.
