...but surely there are natural 'roles' in the household, right?

I mean, I think it is good women have 'come out of the home' into the working world - I have seen many good careers for them, such as pin-ups, posters etc...

So what is going on here?!?

My partner and I both work full time whilst having a 22month old daughter and my parter is definately a modern man. Although he can not cook an adults meal to save his life, he does his fair share of childcare as he works shifts and gets more time off than me, he knows how to work the hoover, cleans up in the bathroom as soon as he has finished and makes sure that the clothes get washed and dried for when I return. Those are the roles that we have defined in our household. A good father, a loving partner and an equal.

How on earth is scrubbing the bathroom a natural role for a woman.

Do you come in from work at night and have to do it?[but its ok for her to]

If you both work then the household tasks should be equal.
if one of you dont work then they take on more of the household tasks because they have more time.

Hate to break it to you, but women were emancipated a long time ago. Get over yourself and clean the bathroom! If she's bringing home the bacon, you can definitely fry it up.

clean the bathroom you @$$, sounds like she's too good for you as it is just from the words you r writing; u wouldn't want to lose what you have cuz with the attitude i'm sensing, your not likely to pick another one up anytime soon unless she's a weak and low-esteemed woman just waiting for a man like you to put her in her place... by the way, do you even have a job? what about the man's role? it's not very manly to whine on the computer...

There are "roles" alright and both the man and the woman have to share. She's obviously helping make the living so you should help with the housework...besides, you probably peed on the floor or on the toilet and she wants you to clean that up so MAYBE you'll stand closer next time...You'd better get busy!

see typical bloke.
Winging about it on here instead of simply doing it and gettin it over and done with.
would take what like 15mins of your time.
Women are just getting on with life, see a woman would go to work and then come home, cook and clean the bathroom and wouldnt spend hte morning on here!
But i have to agree with you women are taking over and i hate female bosses they tend to be much harder and bitchier than the male ones!
good luck with your cleaning!!!!!

How old are you? If you're under 45 you need to accept that women are your equal You don't mind the extra paycheck right? Did you leave that ring in the bathtub and the sh** stain in the toilet? Then you can clean it too!
