They changed their sound from metalcore to metal and started singing alienating all of their old fans. I like some of their new songs, but the betrayal to those who don't is astounding. Now they are making a new CD and M. Shadows says he's going to change again. Whatever sells, right?

I heard a million times that M. Shadows can't scream anymore because he's done too much harm to his vocal cords in the past and if he kept going he wouldn't be able to keeping doing music or possibly talk in the future. Or something among those lines. As far as being a sell out, you can't really blame them for wanting to make money. But I do like the old material better, City of Evil just makes me believe that they're trying to be Guns N Roses.

I sort of agree with you...but then sorta not. Obviously YOU"RE not going to buy their new album...and I'm certainly not..and I know many people who feel the same way as you. So, in that sense...they aren't really sellouts...cause nobody wants it...hehe
