IE7 WORKS BEST WITH WINDOWS PC
SAFARI ,ON THE OTHER HAND ,
WORKS BEST WITH MAC

THE BEST BROWSER IN THE WORLD AT PRESENT IS FIREFOX2
EXTREMELY COMPATIBLE WITH ALL OPERATING SYSTEMS
INCLUDING WINDOWS
MACINTOSH
AND WORKS GREAT WITH LINUX TOO

GO FOR EITHER SAFARI OR FIREFOX....

I WOULD SAY FIREFOX

I've used all of the above browsers for extended periods (I'm a website designer of 9 years). Internet Explorer in the early days, then Netscape because it's not so full of bugs as Explorer. Safari is great, very fast and native to Mac OSX, but not all websites work properly in it. Mozilla Firefox works with just about every site I've been on, but isn't as slick as Safari. The best I've used is Camino. It's pretty new, Mac native and has the power of Firefox, but the speed and look of a Safari - upgraded!

I would use Safari or Firefox.

IE was made for the PC and they stopped making IE after 5.0 for Mac because Mac users weren't using it. There are some design elements in CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), which is used to define the design and sometimes the layout and function of a web page, that are not supported by IE 5. They are supported by IE 6 and 7. IE 7 is the current version of IE on the PC.

I hope that helped.

Neither are very good. Use Firefox. Safari uses a ton memory due to a programming error. IE has no support from Microsoft for about 3 years... meaning no updates for the Mac.

Safari hands down. It's a modern and actively developed web browser with very good web standard support (KHTML/Webkit engine).

IE for Mac has been discontinued 3 years ago. It's a dead product. Microsoft itself recommends Mac users to switch to Safari (see http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/internetexplorer/internetexplorer.aspx?pid=internetexplorer)
