I prefer Ipod,it is a matter of personal preference

for the price, the ipod is a better deal
samsung is either 2 or 4 gig $209-249. I would stay away from mini players with movable parts. Somehow I feel the hinge will be the first thing to go. Also you will not get great sound from tiny speakers. You can get a 30 gig color ipod for $249. It's just a better buy. You can buy a whole crapload of accessories for ipods.
