Many of the invective slingers ARE Americans.

How or why this is, I've no idea.

Personally, I don't give a rat's-*** what it takes to keep our country safe or what certain people think of the tactics

Your question core is off, the fallacy rest in the point that this is not a liberal agenda. I am not liberal by any focus of the imagination. However, as any thinking adult, I know is better and less expensive to talk before attacking. Sometimes you have no choice but to defend yourself. Our court system for an individual is event sit-up that way, everyone has the right to immediately defend themselves, if their is no other way out. When a country decides to go to war, no one really wins. We loose lives, moral is very low in the country, money is spend and the recovery process is much longer. And in the case of America we even spend money rebuilding the enemy land that we just destroyed. So, I would have disagree with your question, the issue at hand is not a liberal or Conservative choice. Is the choice of any rational thinking adult; negotiated before you go on the attack.

No. The very real effects from American foreign policy create this anger. From Hiroshima to Vietnam to Korea to Iraq and Iran to Syria to Russia to Brazil and over and over, America has ruined so many countries. I am not blaming the people here. Watch some Oliver Stone films. Talk to Vietnam war vets and deserters up here. You would be shocked. Talk to immigrants. They have a much better idea. Why, America was involved in the decimation of Somalia and that wasn't even known to the public.

The REASON the USA is called a bully is simple: They have gone against or vetoed practically EVERY UN resolution concerning war- they feel themselves exempt from international Laws, and they think it is below them to sign the Geneva Convention which advocates against WAR CRIMES, and they won't even sign the UN's agreement to eliminate landmines because they have a vested financial interest in supplying countries with the destructive weapons which claim so many innocent lives to date. The US sits smug in it's country and is outraged that ONE building fell after they have massacred half the world. 911 should make people realize how much more other people are going through. 911 is INCOMPARABLE to what people in palestine, iraq, somalia, brazil, HIROSHIMA , vietnam (I really don't have time to go on and on, but I hope you get the picture) go through on a DAILY BASIS. Maybe people took their own lives to make a statement- not that they hate freedom, but that they hate that America will amass weapons of mass destruction enough to WIPE OUT the ENTIRE WORLD not one but SEVEN times over, and then they have the nerve to tell other countries that they can't have so much as a gun (please not the exaggeration for effect) WHy do they think they are exempt from the laws they try to impose on others?

Do your research and educate yourself a bit before you go about making such unfounded claims that the USA is an altruistic country trying to rid the world of dictatorships- there are dictatorships in Africa (eg: Zimbabwe) that they can try to combat, but they wont, WHY???- BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING IN IT FOR THEM!!!!!

People just seem to hate the US no matter what. I heard someone on the radio say that every time he had given anyone money to help them out that they always ended up resenting and hating him. He said the more he gave the more the person hated him. I've seen that happen too. He pointed this out in regard to the US giving so much money away. Would they hate us any more if we didn't give them funds?

no one said anything after we went into Afghanistan because that is where the leadership that planned the attack was. people called us "bullies" after we attacked Iraq for what ended up being under false pretenses.

Yes, and unbelievably a lot of the name callers seem to be American citizens. How soon they forget.

Oh, in response to Logical37...If you think America is the WORST example and the WORST nightmare, explain why people are coming in record numbers to live here.

Somehow, the word 'Bully' doesn't seem like the appropriate term.

ever notice that some dumb folks think that Iraq had something to do with 9/11 (or don't care that it didn't...or that our butting into another middle eastern country has infuriated even more folks and caused many more attacks...)?
