Ahh I don't know it's just like a natural reaction for me. If someone grabs me from behind or whatever to scare me, 99.99% of the time I jump around faster than a blink of the eye with my fists up ready to fight. Sometimes I just automatically swing. Can't control it though.

Its coz they feel threatened and the first thing everyone usually does is defend themselves. Usually when this comes out it is anger, as we don't like having to defend ourselves, especially if it is to do with feeling or opinions. No one likes being scared and people get angry when they don't like something.

Because when our passive environment is disrupted we are confused, anger helps us take control of the situation and that which we assume is responsible for the disturbance, or which may worsen the problem if not put in order. Well expressed anger can intimidate.

I think it is a knee-jerk reaction. They are embarassed for having been scared so, they act out in anger.

Because getting scared feels like death approaching.... and getting scared 'to death' might make someone angry if they weren't in the mood to be killed.

Because when people get angry it shows they have a vulnerable side. People dont like to show they have weaknesses.

I'm not a psychologist but I have found that anger is the easiest of the emotions to deal with.It doesnt involve to much thinking,and is the one that allows you to 'purge'.
