isnt this wrong , and invading your rights ect, can anything be done about it as now other people know my buisness

but surley they cant tell your neighbours what they are knocking for
it was just a parking ticket but now my neighbours know my buisness , they were also very rude to my elderly neighbour and they wasnt happy and asked for there office number and they refussed to give it

anyone can knock on any door and ask for any information they please. it's only an invasion of your rights if they enter your premises without your permission or a warrant... or at least probable cause.

People could refuse to come to the door or to answer and be fully within their rights. But if your neighbours turn you in for a crime then its probably within their rights to cooperate
