if i type a on keyborad it types some other alphabet on screen

if it just the keyboard that makes it respond like that i would just buy a new they are not that expensive i bought one at the thrift store for .99
although you can buy a brand new one for under 1$15.00 might be worth your money

The characters that appear on the screen when you type are those for the keyboard your computer THINKS it has, not the actual keyboard that is connected (unless you have a special keyboard with special drivers).

If you are using Windows then you can set the keyboard you have and wish to use in 'Regional and Language Options' in Control Panel.

For example, if your physical keyboard connected to your PC has a French layout but you wish to use it as though it has a UK layout then you would set the input language (on the Languages tab) to English United Kingdom even though the physical keyboard is French layout.

On the French keyboard the character next to the CAPS Lock is 'q' but on the UK keyboard 'a'.

just get a new one they are like 10 bucks at walmart. 3 at the local goodwill.
