In what circumstances do you think you would give your life for someone or something and who or what would you give your life for?

It is not possible for anyone to predict in this matter although I think just anyone can give away his life for something or someone....... but not purposefully. It can happen only in a fit of emotion when it is the emotion that controls our actions rather than we having any say.

I would give my life if I could be a carefree child again for 1 summer (I'd prefer the age of 6 - 10 years).
or
If I could change 3 life altering mistakes I've made and live for 1 year after the changes.

I would give my life away for my children anyone of them if it was a choice between them or me i would make it them so they could life. Yes, I would. I would give my life away for Severus Snape. Maybe i;m just a sad person who doesn't have a life worth living anyway, but if he ends up a bad character in the 7th book, i'm chucking that novel out the window. I'd rather he died in book 7 than turned out evil.

Because I am the only one who has inherited this pain.... and I would not want anyone to have it..... and yet, it belongs to God and He allows me to decide what I will do with it...... So, I struggle.
I like it..... and so I dream of it becoming worthy of report..... But, I wont give it away for nothing....
The only way i'd give up my life.... is if my body shall cease to be....

i would give my life to someone, anybody. helping others is more important than saving oneself (that is what i think).
