owe girl all to soon!!!!!! I'm 25 weeks and just the last week or so people could feel her kick from the outside. I'd say in another week your little one will let you know exactly what its doing!!! a book I'm reading at home says between 23 and 28 weeks the baby kicks and punches the most and after the 28th it has less room and is more like wiggles!!!!!! congrats on your baby!!!! this is my 1st too.... are you having a boy or girl????

I have had 4 babies, My first I was around 20 weeks when I first felt the "butterfly's" Around 24-26 I felt the first "thumps" by around 30 weeks baby was just going to town. By this stage with all my kids they felt like they were trying to do somersaults inside. Stretching there whole bodies out. Kicking so hard one of my boys even gave me a bruise on the side. They'd wake up just as I was getting into bed. Yeah it sucked, but I loved it so much, that was the only part of pregnancy I truly enjoyed. Feeling your baby move for the first time is a moment you'll never forget. We as the mothers get to feel that long before anyone else can, i remember the look on my husbands face the first time he felt it too.
Hope this helped some. Oh and congratulations on the baby, by the way.

Enjoy it while it still feels like a butterfly! Once the bub gets bigger the kicks can be more and more painful depending on their position.

It takes a little while but I noticed stronger movements around 26-28 weeks.

Good Luck!

In the next month or so, it will feel much more than a butterfly. The bigger the baby gets, the more strong the movements will be.

My man was able to feel our baby move around 26 weeks along, believe me, it will come soon enough. Now my little boy is jabbing me in the ribs and i can feel him pressing on my bladder on and off.

It will only get stronger from here on out

the baby will start to have patterns in the day when they are more active....once you establish those patterns you should be able to tell whats movement and whats not
