The 71-72 LA Lakers, led by Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor and Gail Goodrich won a record 33 straight games starting on 11/05/71 and ending with a loss to the Kareem/Oscar led Bucks on 01/09/72.
They went on to finish the regular season at 69-13, which was a record until the 96 Bulls surpassed them with 72 wins.
One of the greatest teams in NBA history!

If you mean in NBA history, then it's 33 by the 1971-72 L.A. Lakers. This season it's 12 by the Suns
