Male tigers usually. Tigers are solitary animals that dependent on themselves only. Lions are pack animal and the males are notoriously lazy. Its dependent on the type of tiger. The Siberian is the largest cat.

Tigers are generally bigger then lions so going off of weight alone, the tiger would win.

A male tiger, as not only is it bigger, but male lions are notoriously lazy animals and would only actually get up off its bum if it really had to!
