yes he is. England badly needs a quality spinner. He need not be an all rounder. If you take wickets that will matter. It's the responsibilty of batsmen to get runs

Don't be so hasty, dear ! England thought that they had all the answers with Flintoff, Harmison, Petersen, Hoggard, Collingwood and now they find themselves at 0-2 down with 3 more tests to play at Perth, Melbourne & Sydney.
Let England first win this test to bring some competition into this series !!

One man can not make difference to the team. Not even, great Muralitharan. S Lanka could have won the last test match against NZ, if their batsmen had scored little more runs. Yes, they have bowled Aussies out cheaply at 244 runs and they 36 for no loss, but let me assure you, Aussies will take 1st innings lead. Do not believe me, we will see tomorrow, not far away.

I fully agree with you. It was a wrong decision to leave him out from the first 2 tests and people concerned in selection will be repending for the same.

Five for first innings - one would wonder why he hasn't played in the previous tests, but knowing at the close tonight England are already two for - anyones game...
