easy. But depnds if the year has 365 or 366days!

suppose 365
a day has 24 hours so 365* 24 hours
each hour has 60 minutes so 365*24*60minutes
and each minute 60 seconds so 365*24*60*60 seconds
and multiply by 10^6

Answer for 365 days =3.1536 10^14 *s

answer for 366 days=3.16224 10^14 s

Currently a vernal equinox year is about 365.242375 days,
multiply this by 24 hour/day, multiply 60 minute/hour, multiply 60 second/minute, multiply 1000000 microsecond/second.

1 vernal equinox year = 31556941200000 micro seconds

or 3.1557*10^13 (to 5 sig fig.)

1M ( second) * 60 (min) * 60 (hour) * 24 (day) * 365 (or 366) (year)

The be really precise you must adjust for the fact that the orbit of the earth is not an even number of days and that the earth slowly changes speed. See reference...

1,000,000 microseconds in a second
60,000,000 microseconds in a minute
3,600,000,000 microseconds in an hour
86,400,000,000 microseconds in a day,

and assuming 365.25 days in a year, there are:

31,557,600,000,000 microseconds in a year.
