After feeling un well i took a pregnancy test, although the line was weak it looked like i was pregnant. I then did a 2nd test a day later, again i had a weak line (slightly darker) but still weak. A day later i went to the doctor and she did a test for me and the results came back yesterday that it was weak positive. They want me to go back in a week to do another test, But me being me cant really wait that long. Now if my calculations are correct then i probably am very very early on. Ive had 4 tests done now over 4 days and they have all been weak positive. Any advise please?

Oh ya you are. I thought I was not pregnant after I did my reading because i didn't see it the plus. I threw my test away and told my husband sorry. We will just have to keep trying. Went to take a shower later that night and was throwing away my shampoo bottle. The ept test oddly enough flip out of the trash can because it was really full. I picked up the test and looked at it again. It was very light but there was a plus. I freaked out! I thought I was seeing things. I thought that I wanted to be pregnant so bad that I was just wanting to see a positive sign. Had my husband take a look and needless to say we celebrated and made an appt the next morning to c the Dr. I now am 31 weeks. Congrats! I also took another that same night and it also showed a plus sign after about 7 min. The first time I only waited about 3-4 min and then threw it away.

I've work in maternal and child health care for almost 10 years and I've never heard of a "weak" positive test. You are either pregnant or you aren't. Since the test was positive, then you are pregnant. Since you stated "miscarry again" then your doctor should run additional blood tests to test your hormone levels. Some women have low progesterone levels which make it difficult to sustain a pregnancy. There are medications to help with that. If your hormone levels are fine then you might consider an amnio test to rule out genetic issues. No one here can guarantee that this pregnancy will be healthy and that you won't miscarry again. I wish you all of the luck in the world that you will not experience another pregnancy loss.

A weak positive pregnancy test usually means that the test was performed too early in the pregnancy..................it doesn't matter if the other line is weak.. two lines means it's picking up the hCG levels the farther along you are the stronger they get... being that your so early it isn't very strong but if you we rent pregnant it wouldn't show up at all.... congrats!!!! hopefully everything goes well

Sounds like you are similiar to my mother. She has a hormonal embalance, so when she went to take a pregnancy test, she couldn't make it go positive, even when visable pregnant. The medical community is starting to wise up to this and make more sensitive tests. But anywho you could very well be pregnant but not yet having a high enough hormone flux to get a strong positive.
I would say just start treating yourself as if you are to be on the safe side. No drinking, smoking, wild parties, or bungee jumping.

Unfortunately the best thing to do is wait another week to see if it gets stronger! I know its really hard - but at least this way you will know for sure and won't get your hopes up too high.
Just stay positive - at least the tests are showing some kind of positive!

That's a yes! I had an extremely light positive, so much that I questioned it and the next day it was a tiny bit darker and then the blood test said yes. I was five weeks already though - you may be much earlier into your pregnancy.

It might mean that it's just too early and there isn't a lot of the pregnancy hormone showing up in your urine yet. Best thing to do is go back in a week and see what the next test says.

It means that the hormone hcg has been detected in your wee.no matter how faint a line its always a postive on pregnancy tests unlike ovulation tests.And its extremely rare to ever get a false positive unless your useing fertillity drugs which could effect it.If you have missed your period id say you are and you need to see your gp.

a weak positive is still a positive hun, you are probably early on as you said, so there wont be a lot of the hcg to detect. it should come back much darker in a few days.
